How to modify the collision level?

2025-08-29

In the teach pendant: Click Settings ->Safety Settings -> Unlock -> Collision Settings

The Collision Settings area allows setting the collision detection level, reset mode, and response mode.

Collision detection levels are: Off, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, Level 5. Higher levels mean higher sensitivity for collision detection.

Collision detection reset modes are: Manual Reset and Auto Reset.

Collision detection response modes options are: Protective Stop, Safety Stop, and Zero-force Rebound. When "Zero-force Rebound" is selected,a prompt message appears: "Warning: Incorrect load parameters risk abnormal robot falling!".

After configuring the collision detection level, reset mode, and response mode, click the "OK" button.

When the collision response mode is set to Zero-force Rebound, the robot will adapt to the external collision force within 1s of detection, causing a rebound motion until contact with the external object is lost or the contact force is minimal.
