Straits Nebula Intelligent Manufacturing Base

Strait Nebula machine manufacturing base is the first domestic chip machine production base in Fujian Province, which has the domestic first-class intelligent machine manufacturing production line.Through DUCO collaborative robots, it realises the intelligent identification and assembly of host components such as processor, memory, heat sink, hard disk, power module and so on. It also realises the information system management of the whole process of order, storage, manufacturing and supply chain. The factory informatisation level is leading in China, which meets the demand of Fujian Province for the substitution of domestic Xintronics servers and PCs as a whole, and becomes a representative of the degree of automation of PC manufacturing in Fujian Province. The project represents a historic step in the automation of electronic information industry and digital economy in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province.

Customer Pain Points

The production environment is confined, and the degree of flexibility is high, the motherboard configuration is different, traditional industrial robots can not be applied. Therefore, the customer chose a series of collaborative robots, due to the complexity of the end-mounted tools, the traditional collaborative robots with small loads put forward higher requirements. The customer finally chose DUCO self- developed collaborative robots with large loads.

Benefits

The collaborative robot occupies a small space and requires no fencing. The production line realises the layout of multiple workstations and three machines in one station, which is the front-end application in the industry. The project uses a large number of collaborative robots with integrated vision sensors, which can accurately complete positioning, barcode scanning, inspection and other tasks, and can greatly improve the quality of the production line instead of manual labour
