In this project, the customer's electric drive assembly line is basically a robot to complete the assembly and inspection of each station in the entire line. Need to transform the workstation for the electric drive rotor shell installation tightening workstation, by the turntable tray to achieve the flow of processes, the need to collaborate with the robot before the first sequence on a circle of 10 bolts, collaborative robots to do the next sequence of the end of the tightening. At the same time, the customer put forward higher requirements for product installation quality, production speed, footprint and process control and monitoring.
The Solution
1. Layout: Due to the space limitation of the production line, the flow of four processes is realised through the rotary table, firstly, the big load industrial arm carries out the handling and loading of the whole workpiece of the electric drive, then the multi-collector GCR5 collaborative arm picks up the bolts and loads up the bolts sequentially, and then two sets of GCR10 collaborative arm carries the screwing gun to do the final tightening, and the whole beat is controlled in less than 80S.
2. Process: As the assembly of electric drive is a meticulous and high-precision process, involving a number of key steps to ensure product quality and performance, according to the site conditions to design a customer-satisfactory programme, and ultimately complete the entire process in accordance with the following process: electric drive loading → mounting holes on the bolts → bolts to the final tightening → transported to the next workstation.
